President Bio
Growing up in a small Midwest town, Markus has always been intrigued by nature, entertainment and art. Taking up the trumpet at age 10, his love and appreciation for music developed quickly, lasting throughout his life to the present. His thirst for knowledge and desire to change the world took him through college straight out of High School, taking on the difficult studies of Biology Education and Horticulture Science. His love and respect for nature influenced him to become an avid environmentalist, which led him to become President of Students for a Sustainable Earth at Pittsburg State University. During this time Markus organized an Earth Day Art and Music Festival benefiting recycling efforts in local schools. This process was his first taste of the music business, foreshadowing his unforeseen future in the entertainment field.
As a music fan Markus has traveled the World to experience the best music on the touring market, developing a sense for how bands tour and captivate audiences to become a successful touring act. His diverse background includes teaching, live video/audio archivist, merchandiser, and road manager. Markus uses these skills to represent artists and negotiate performances nationwide. Markus has two B.A. degrees in Biology Education (Pittsburgh State University) and Horticultural Science (Kansas State University).
